She is unlike any other woman he has ever met.

Sharon Carter. The ultimate soilder. So gung-ho that she is ranked number 13 in a cast of literally thousands in SHIELD. And now, she stands as the woman who has tamed Superman's heart.

Clark has been shown things he has never seen before, and even though in the back of his mind, he isn't sure how to feel towards her politics of 'taking lives', she has brightened his heart like never before.

She is nothing like what he expected to find, but Sharon is the woman of Clark's dreams, and now, he wants to be her Superman.

Together, Sharon was able to bring Superman closer into SHIELD, fixing the wounds he caused long ago, and helping him to discover the secrets of his own origin. Also, with the blessing of Nick Fury, Superman soon stands as an official spokesman for Earth, which comes in handy during the great Kree/Skrull War.

Also, Superman finds that with SHIELD and the Avengers working together, several of SHIELD's top ten most wanted are captured. Purple Man. The Green Goblin. Venom. Bullseye. Even long, lost World War II villian, Baron Zemo.

Superman's life feels almost complete. With his team, his work, and the woman of his dreams, Clark finally feels the closure he was looking for, and is able to feel more complete when it comes to seperating Superman and Clark Parker.

Everything is finally perfect...

Though when the Silver Surfer comes crashing to Earth, Superman is there to help his long lost friend to his feet. The Surfer, however, could only find himself saying one simple sentence...

"Galactus is coming..."
